He was just a tiny, soft, sweet-smelling puppy when he arrived at his owner’s home – but sadly, like so many others, he was eventually forgotten. He received no training, no socialization, and no real care. When he first came to us, he attacked other dogs, accepted no one, and was distrustful and defensive. But Palkó has come such a long way. Today, he has learned to trust both people and other dogs. He no longer attacks; in fact, he even has a kennel mate he gets along well with. He doesn’t bite anymore – instead, he loves to cuddle and seeks affection. He’s gentle, kind, and even children can walk him. He walks nicely on the leash without pulling and is completely house-trained. His heartworm quick test came back negative. He weighs between 8–12 kg, and his shoulder height is about 30 cm. Palkó is not a dog for beginners, but for someone who understands his past and the journey he has made, he will be the most loyal and grateful companion imaginable.
