She is an active Belgian Shepherd mix girl, but smaller in size than her purebred relatives. It’s important to know that she’s not a “finished dog” yet. On the leash she’s very energetic and tends to pull, so she still has a lot to learn and needs patience, consistency, and guidance. At the same time, she’s incredibly receptive, eager to work and engage with her human, and full of energy and love to give to someone who’s willing to grow and learn with her. She’s friendly with other dogs and gets along well with them, so she could easily adapt to living with a canine companion. Athéné is looking for an owner who understands the needs of a shepherd mix and enjoys spending active time together – through training, hiking, and learning.
