| Comment: | Zivi was born on a farm where she never experienced gentle human care. For a long time the outside world meant fear and danger to her. She and her siblings could only be rescued with the help of a humane trap, there was no other way. At around four and a half months old she felt human closeness for the first time. Her first reaction was understandably fear. She snapped, barked, and resisted with her whole body.
Since then she has slowly started to open up, but she still needs a lot of time and patience. She is looking for a calm and understanding home with someone who respects her pace and allows her to learn to trust gradually. She gets along well with other dogs, which can be a great support for her in a new environment. |
